Positano: Travel Diary

Positano stole my heart about 4 years ago when I first visited it. I stayed in Sorrento 2 years in a row and each time I made a small day trip to Positano. Those trips were way too short if you ask me. I always longed to go back, stay there and stay longer. That’s exactly what I did this summer.
My best friend and I booked our trip very last minute, but got ahold of the cutest B&B ever! The host was very friendly and the location was almost perfect (long way down to the centre). We had booked a normal double room without balcony but received a triple room with balcony AND sea sight at our arrival. We were beyond happy! That’s where our 4 day adventure began.

We arrived in Positano around 3pm because the taxi ride from the airport took us almost 2 full hours – exhausting – so naturally we were very hungry/hangry, to say the least. The first thing we did after unpacking, was going to my favorite breakfast/lunch bars in Positano: Casa e Bottega. They serve the best panini’s and omelets and all their food is organic. After that it was time to explore.

On our second day, we didn’t waste a second and hopped on straight onto the beach chairs. We really wanted to “get our tan on”. I can tell you, relaxing and tanning with such an amazing view really raises your standerds as to how you want to spend future holidays. Of course we also spent our last full day at the beach, after having some of the best meals and taking even more breathtaking pictures. I can easily say this was my best holiday ever and I can even share a little secret: we already booked our trip to Positano for June next year(!!!)
Hope you enjoyed this post and pictures as much as I enjoyed the trip!
